    If I told somebody that ‘I was middle-aged’ and they subsequently discovered I was 35 years of age, they would think I was daft.

    If 35 = “middle-aged”, then which label are the 46-yr-olds to wear? Does ‘57′ = “senior citizen”?

    Also, I would not drive that car w/out a helmet, unless I had it alone on a private track.

    Don’t get me wrong — I think the Atom is a marvelous piece of work… but at least the Lamborghini gives shelter from rain, wind, etc. The Atom is definiitely a fair-weather ride, save for those who enjoy munching bugs (and maybe birds) and getting soaked in inclement conditions.

    No, this is not a go-kart. A kart isn’t much bigger than the person driving it… the Ariel Atom has a much more robust structure than any go-kart I’ve ever seen, Go-karts do not have a suspension; this does. The HP developed by the Atom’s engine is far beyond anything seen in a go-kart. This is a car, minus bodywork and windscreen, NOT a kart.
